Neo-Leninism is an 
economically far-left, 
culturally left ideology based on the ideological interpretations of Marxism by 
Vladimir Lenin known as 
Leninism . It takes significant ideological influences from Luxemburgism and minor ideological influences from 
Maoism.
For the most part, it is literally just Leninism, with few minor tweaks to select parts of the ideology to update the ideology to the modern day.
That is literally it. I am a Leninist with a few agreements with Maoism about stuff like the Cultural Revolution and PPW and whatever, and I hate Stalinism/Marxism-Leninism. That's it.
Summarized Beliefs
Government 
Dictatorship of the Proletariat. This is obvious. This government should be composed of Soviets- workers' and peasants' councils which start all the way from the workplace to the national level. Preferably the government should be bottom-up; that is decision-making from the base of this 'Union of Soviets' should start at the local level and work its way nationally rather than the other way around. I would also propose that although it is necessary to create a national 'Supreme Soviet' that it should not serve as an actual governmental organism in its own right, but rather as a way to ease decision-making between the different Soviets.
Economics
Workplace democracy. Soviets. Decentralized planned economy. The workers themselves in each factory will decide their quotas, their metrics, their outputs. Safeguards will have to be put in place, and this system comes with the risk of sabotage, but I have faith in the honesty and integrity of a people who have finally broken their chains.
Diplomacy 
I don't like 
, but I see it as somewhat of an important tool. Said 'socialist patriotism', of course, cannot be based in ethnic or even civic lines, but only in the lines of the proletariat.
At the same time we must understand that the lines between patriotism and nationalism are blurred, and thus I caution against it. This is why I refer to myself as a Proletarian Internationalist and believe in a world revolution; because communism may only succeed on a global (if not continental) scale.

Culture 
Stalin and Mao were correct in their assessments that even after a proletarian revolution and even after the supposed purging of these elements that the bourgeois classes still remain influential in society... which is why it is necessary to purge their influences (and them) through a revolution of culture itself; the breaking of a bourgeois culture focused on profit and hedonism and a construction of the culture of the proletariat. Everything in this current world must be swept away; culture is no exception to this.

Council Communism - I do consider myself a council communist, though obviously quite a heterodox one. Councils can still be the basis of a socialist society while co-existing with a vanguard party; the two aren't incompatible as many of you so-believe.
Marxism-Leninism - You are revisionist, and I frankly only am related to you through the ideologies which spawned off of you, but I can't deny you have at least some ideological influence on me as a result.
Mao Zedong Thought - I wouldn't classify myself ever as an adherent to MZT (or even Maoism), but I definitely find myself agreeing with you on a lot of things, such as the cultural revolution, protracted people's war, the mass line and the like.

- Socialist Patriotism - I approach you with caution. A people should hold genuine love for their land or their people, but history has shown that the line between patriotism and nationalism is often more blurred than expected.
- Proletarian Internationalism - What communist movement can claim to be truly communist if it focuses solely on itself? The workers of the world will break off their chains one day.

This passage is very much often seen as proof that Engels or even Marx subscribed to the idea that communism is Egoistic; or that it is even compatible with such the ideology. Yet doing the slightest bit of further reading proves the exact opposite. Engels states directly that rather than embracing the Ego that we must 'depart' from it; to discard it in favor of 'man'; empirical man. This is further backed by his previous statement in which he states that it is out of egoism which [sic] "we wish to be human beings, not mere individuals". In other words, Engels here is advocating for evolving past the idea of the individual; as lone organism which acts purely of his own ego, and towards the idea of human beings; the empirical man, humanity as a whole.
The term 'egoism' in this context does not refer to the Egoism of Stirner but simply the act of self-interest. It is, indeed, in Engel's self-interest (and thus out of egoism) that he is a communist and that he wishes to be a human being rather than a simple 'individual'. Those who unironically believe in what they believe in believe in it as such because it will one way or another benefit their self-interest. The important thing to note here is that Engels states that this is not the reason why he is a communist. He states that this is irrespective of material aspirations; of the basis for a communist society.
We again cannot ignore the fact that throughout this entire article, Engels is shitting on Stirner's concept of the ego; pointing out its contradictions and absurdities. He points out that the idea that man is selfish and driven only by Ego is stupid and instead points out that 'the human heart is of itself, from the very outset, unselfish and self-sacrificing'. This is what he is referring to by 'one-sidedness'; the one-sidedness of Egoism which believes there to only be the Ego and nothing else.
Engels seeks to use the idea of egoism to prove a point; that it doesn't work, that under its own absurdities and contradictions that its adherents are more likely to turn to communism, a decidedly anti-egoist (or perhaps post-egoist) than to continue as an egoist. He advocates not for an embracement of the ego or of egoism to reinforce it, but rather to destroy it; to destroy the idea of the individual in favor of the empirical Man, not separate from society, not disconnected from its goals, but united with it while still maintaining his own goals. It is in the self-interest of the Ego to destroy itself. That is the point he is making.
Even if we were to make the rather stretchable conclusion that Engels is not denouncing egoism but instead supporting it, he is certainly not advocating for the nihilistic, purely individualistic and immaterial worldview of Stirner. We therefore can make the conclusion that no, communism is not compatible with egoism. Rather, the conclusion to be made is that out of egoism, the idea of the 'Ego' will abolish itself.
