Vistulism is a LibLeft, Left Unity and market socialist (specifically the Illyrian type) ideology. It takes ideas from Autonomism (the belief in public disobedience), Conservationist Transhumanism (a personal sub-set of transhumanism which takes the belief that we were made in Gods image and wants to use transhumanism simply for the help of mankind rather than on silly luxuries such as humans having wings.), Post-Scarcity Anarchism(the belief that scarcity can be overcome.), Market Socialism (the belief that markets and socialism are compatiable with each other.), Titoism (non-aligned movement, marketsoc, revolutions/partisan revolution, etc.)

Vistulism also believes that advancements in technology must come. It wishes for a "technological revolution" in which we find ways to improve people's lives even more with new technology. For example, if we are able to make a fully self-sufficient society, we can make a world where people can follow their avaritions (as long as they are moral.)

Theory

Cultural Nationalism

I believe that people who come into the country should accept our pan-Christian and exclusively British traditions such as Christmas, Guy Fawkes Night, etc. They don't have to become Christian or remove their own traditions, they can do whatever traditions they want, they should just accept we have our traditions as well.

Economy

I am inspired by Attlee, Tito, Vaněk and Horvat.

Vistulism uses the state of crisis our country is going through (shitty economy, cant manage immigration, long queues for anything) and uses these to appeal to the people that socialism is the way forward.

Unionism

Trade Unions are a core part of our country. They must make sure no worker is exploited because even though Illyrian Socialism is good, it's not perfect. I am not a Syndicalist, just a Trade Union lover.

House of Labour

I believe in an establishment of a third house, like the upper and lower house which is composed of workers who have been elected by other workers and they can veto government bills if they achieve a majority vote. New workers would be elected every 2 years by their fellow workers. They can choose to run if they wish to. If a worker wishes to resign from the House of Labour, they may do so. The person who got the 2nd highest vote in that workplace shall replace them if they wish. If they refuse, it shall go up until the 5th place candidate. If they reject this, a new vote will be done.

Workers can also call a new candidate vote if they recieve at least 30% of the people in support of calling a new vote. This vote would then be conducted within at most 2 months time.

All votes to the House of Labour shall be done under a system of STV (single transferrable vote).

Republicanism

I've abandoned allowing the monarchy to exist as a system.
We must reform into a federal semi-presidential republic.

Checks and Balances

As we are embracing a semi-presidential republic, we must add in some checks and balances to make sure we do not fail as a state or let authority hold the people hostage.

I wish for 3 positions within the country:

President of the House of Labour
President of the Republic
Prime Minister of the Republic

President of the House of Labour

The President of the House of Labour shall be voted in by all workers.
They shall actively work to defend workers rights and receive a salary for their role.

President of the Republic

The President of the Republic is a merely ceremonial role which shall be held by the leader of the revolutionary party. All they shall do is unite the people under one figurehead, manage alerts and attend conferences. Other than that, they don't have any real power.
They shall also attend all debating sessions in parliament and restore order in parliament if things get too chaotic.

Prime Minister of the Republic

The Prime Minister is the person with the actual power, unlike the President. They shall be democratically elected by the Electorate. They basically do everything the Prime Minister of the UK does right now, but better because they aren't a useless Tory bastard.

Regional Elections

The electorate of general elections shall be of anybody who is at least 16 years of age.

Single Transferrable Vote

FPTP has so many disadvantages that it's ridiculous we still use it. Single Transferrable Vote is a much better system for the country.

Political Media

I want to put an end to Mediacracy (Talkin' to you, Murdoch) by putting an end to political media other than actual debates. This is so that the media can't influence people's decision and instead the people can listen to the candidates themselves and people can actually think for themselves for once.
