) - Yes, our species has survived mainly through it's communitarian tendencies. But that era is over now. We have the technologies to make individuals capable of surviving on their own. Furthermore, the value of labor is not equal, and so your society would be rewarding the ones who do more valuable labor the same as someone who does less valuable labor. This form of reward is insufficient.
