Geodynamism is an off-compass ideology which aims to establish a system comprising a multitude of different 'zones', which are operated by states with varying modes of governance and policy (some not having a state at all). The central principle is that all individuals reserve the fundamental right to leave or enter a zone whenever they desire to (albeit with certain restrictions on the transfer of goods and property).

The Zone System

Though it has for objective the maximisation of freedom in the form of the right to choose one's mode of governance (similarly to Panarchism), this zoning system would require a large-scale directive structure capable of maintaining and enforcing the laws of multiple political systems at once. This would take the form of a quasi-totalitarian rule by a decentralised Artificial Intelligence network, which would be responsible for guaranteeing that the fundamental freedom of movement for all individuals.
Nodes for each zone and (group of similar zones) would act to make sure that each government behaves according to the set of policies and restrictions which has been allocated to it. The system of a zone may undergo fluctuations, but it is not permitted to change its core ideological features or mode of governance. The possibility to choose between all available systems is thus maintained

Relationships

Friends

  • Panarchism - You're a lot like me, albeit you think governance shouldn't be delimited by borders, which isn't very realistic.
  • Voluntaryism - Prioritising consent and freedom of association? Nice.
  • Minarchism - Knows what the state ought to be!
  • Social Libertarianism - Social freedoms are good.
  • Cybercommunism - CYBERSYN was certainly ahead of its time!

Frenemies

  • Democracy - Good in principle, maybe less in practice.
  • Patchwork - Interesting system, but I'm not sure I trust 'joint-stock corporations'.
