What is this?
The Radinia Project (Working Title) is a fantasy world invented by Dr. Occo in the early 2020s. Multiple novels are planned, however none of them have even a first draft to show.
Concept and Worldbuilding
Radinia is a State on a European-inspired fantasy continent. As the Names of some characters might suggest, Radinia itself is stylistically inspired by Dr. Occo‘s fatherland, Germany. Radinia, in the canonically current year of 1566, is without any ruler by the time the story takes place, as its Monarch and most of the Nobility had been killed by a demon three years prior, in the exact middle of a brutal civil war between the Radinian Royal Army and a Rebellion of multiple, only loosely connected forces.
Groups
National Governments
Previa
- Kingdom of Radinia (currently without Ruler)
- Capital: Rados
- Anthem:
- Languages: Radinian, Zeisk, Breike-Radinian, Scortan
- Status: Regional Power, currently compromised
- Description: Radinia was a Kingdom, but a recent decline in competency of the kings and continuous power struggles between king, parliament and economy have lead to popular uprisings, that eventually sparked a civil war. While the civil war is officially over, Radinia has no unitary government.
- Political Model:
- Will be described in the entire article
- Republic of Kramm
- Capital: Krammsentral
- Anthem: "Republican Light March"
- Languages: Kramish, Scortan
- Status: Regional Power
- Description: Kramm is a small group of islands in the Previan Ocean, on which a city-state has evolved into a booming merchant republic through diplomacy and sometimes conquest. It is a hub for big trading companies, and prides itself on its progressive policy. The democracy of Kramm is based on merchant families, most of which have held the positions of the city and cooperated at one point or another.
- Political Model:
- Agrarianism (outside of Krammsentral)
- Capitalism
- Civic Nationalism
- Old Splinter
- Democracy
- Dominant City Model
- Plutocracy
- Presidentialism
- Progressivism
- Republicanism
- Emporian Empire
- Capital: Acrist
- Anthem: "The King's Cloak is made of Rock and Earth"
- Languages: Emporian, Vrantkan
- Status: Great Power
- Description: Emporia is a Monarchy, and has been for a long time. It currently tries to resist the revolutionary ideas sweeping the world, and has buried itself deep in Monarchical Tyranny as a consequence. The King and Queen, who rule about equally, have allowed some Capitalist Reforms to keep economic power, but the nation does not even have a constitution or parliament, let alone democratic or liberal values. Some nobles and political actors, more than in most other countries, have adopted the Reactionary Theories of Azan Cyrzan, while others want a more Conservative, but not regressive, approach. Unfortunately for other countries, most politicians in Emporia can agree that Imperialism is very necessary.
- Political Model:
- Ucayanate of Hysa
- Capital: None
- Anthem: None
- Languages: Hysaian, Iya, Vrantkan, Seaside Hysaian, Emporian
- Status: Minor Power, Urlanish Satellite State
- Description: Hysa is an internally very loosely connected territory, comprised of a coastline on the Previan Sea in its West, Rocky Deserts in the North, and Mountainous Terrain in the South and East, where it also owns a small part of the northern Ethrian Sea coast. Hysa exists since 1204, when the Ucayanate of Urlan defeated the Kingdom of Emporia at the naval Battle of Aelcas, formed as a buffer state between Emporia and the newly united Kingdom of Vrantka. It still fulfills this role today, and its government is widely seen as merely a Puppet of Urlan. The only reason it has not been conquered is that no one wants full-on war with Urlan.
- Political Model:
- Aristocracy
- Decentralism
- Furaz Dar Theocracy
- Puppet Dictatorship
- Traditionalism
- Tribalism
- Ucayanism
- Kingdom of Vrantka
- Capital: Jucalam
- Anthem: "Whistle for Vrantka"
- Languages: Vrantkan, Iya, Emporian
- Status: Regional Power
- Description: Vrantka lays to the South of Emporia, although because the Ucayanate of Hysa is between them, the two states don't share a border. It's a small Kingdom, but very influential, since it has rich reserves of Tavinium in its soil, a long tradition of extremely skilled mages, and a near monopoly on sea trade in the region. The King mostly relies on the mages and Industrialists to keep him in power, treating them well and using them to oppress the civilian population. He has allied himself with the Emporians, occasionally lending troops to their war efforts, partly to avoid a brutal conquest of his land, partly because their Jeacernite ideology is very similar to his. Unfortunately for him, the powerful mages and the Industry, the unfair treatment of the Vrantkan population has inspired the famous socialist thinker Kovim Zavat to establish a Rebel group that seeks to free the people, leading to a state of near civil war in some parts of the country.
- Political Model:
- Anti-Socialism
- Absolute Monarchism
- Industrialism
- Tavocracy
- Reactionaryism
- Ucayanate of Urlan
- Capital: Rahsia
- Anthem: None
- Languages: Urlanish, Haebi, Fathabi, Iya, Emporian, Scortan
- Status: Great Power
- Description: Urlan is a huge Empire, sharing a border with Emporia, but being mostly surrounded by water, with the Calm Sea in its north and the Ethrian Sea in its southwest. Its political system is organized around an Ucayan, a largely powerless figurehead monarch, and a parliament, the "Kahra", which actually governs the state. Urlan has conflicts with Vrantka (over who owns which parts of the Ethrian Sea), Emporia (an expansionist clash at their border) and Scorta (over some islands in the Calm Sea), and is therefore often seen as a boogeyman by the other regional powers, who often try to incite revolts by ethnic minorities in Urlan, who are often being harshly repressed.
- Political Model:
- Authoritarian Conservatism
- Ethnocracy
- Furaz Dar Theocracy
- Imperialism
- Parliamentarianism
- Species Separatism
- Ucayanism
- Scortan Empire
- Capital: Areia
- Anthem: "The People's Guardian"
- Languages: Scortan, Vadrian
- Status: Superpower
- Description: The Scortan Empire, through hundreds of years of conquest, has grown to be multiple times bigger than any of its neighbors. The Caesar rules, and upon a Caesar’s death (or voluntary retirement), the next Caesar is elected by the people. The current Caesar is Angelicus I., and due to him being undead, it might take a while until the Office changes hands. Fortunately, he is generally popular and rules well, and he has decided to end the Imperialist policies for the time being. He is ironically a rather weak leader, which Liberals in high positions know to use to their advantage.
- Political Model:
- Independent Principality of Glimburg
- Capital: Altbaake
- Anthem: "The Star of Glimburg"
- Languages: Radinian, Vadrian, Scortan
- Status: Minor Power, independent
- Description: Glimburg was a Principality of Radinia for quite a while, but it split from it during the Four-Cities-War 300 years ago. It stayed a Principality for most of them, but the king got overthrown a few years before the Radinian Civil War by the military. Now, General Viktus von Aarben rules Glimburg.
- Political Model:
- Kingdom of Vadria
- Capital: Weslahn
- Anthem: "Hail the Royal Family"
- Languages: Vadrian, Scortan, Radinian
- Status: Regional Power
- Description: In the eighth century, the three northern provinces of the Scortan Empire rebelled against the Caesar. After a civil war, where the Caesar was killed and his army beaten, the provinces broke away from Scorta and formed the Kingdom of Vadria. The Kingdom, which has persisted ever since, is ruled over by the Ven Briers family, who have a reputation for being weak-willed and easy to manipulate. A parliament has formed over the centuries, which has been able to pass reforms to keep with the times, which is why Vadria, despite currently losing much of its territory, is still an important global player.
- Political Model:
- State of Aktiat
- Capital: Carapitia
- Anthem: "The Empire lives"
- Languages: Scortan, Vadrian, Zuezik
- Status: Minor Power, Scortan Satellite State
- Description: Aktiat is a small state that has fought a war of secession against Vadria, and with some unofficial help from the Scortan Army, they won their independence in 1528. The Aktiat government claims to be the successor of the Tiat Empire, a Mega-State that had control over the whole region, from Vrantka to Tagrait, up until it collapsed in the sixth century. The population is mostly ethnically Scortan, however there is a small ethnic minority, the Zuezians, in western Aktiat.
- Political Model:
- Archmagedom of Larett
- Capital: Gathenion
- Anthem: "Rejoice, for Larett is standing strong"
- Languages: Larettian, Scortan, Kubesthian
- Status: Minor Power, Buffer State between Scorta and Tagrait-Skamreik
- Description: Larett lays in the East, bordering Tagrait-Skamreik to the north, Scorta to the south, and Vadria to the west. Its biggest features are its enormous mines, in which lots of precious metals and especially Tavinium can be found. On paper, Larett is ruled by the Likars, a council of powerful mages, and the archmage they elect every ten years, but in practice, mining magnates and traders hold most of the power, since the country has little fertile soil and is reliant on trade to sustain itself.
- Political Model:
- Peoples' Union of Tagrait-Skamreik
- Capital: Pvasa
- Anthem: "Revolutionary March"
- Languages: Tagraiti, Skamrian
- Status: Great Power
- Description: The Vukdom of Tagrait and the Kingdom of Skamreik both united in the 14th Century, the first from a Feudal Patchwork, the second from multiple Tribal territories. The Vuk of Tagrait was eventually replaced with a King as a result of Previan integration. Then, in 1473, a Socialist revolution occurred in Tagrait, which eventually lead to the Tagraiti Socialist Peoples' Party seizing power. In 1520, a young Minister named Doimeg Agameniv succeeded Udar Viktunus as Chief Commissar of the TSPP, and immediately began concentrating all power on himself. For multiple reasons, he then declared war on the neighbouring kingdom of Skamreik, and his Army under General Lerrais Itberk successfully conquered the entire kingdom, incorporating the country into the Socialist regime. Since then, their geopolitical power has been growing, and it has become clear that they are motivated to spread their ideology over the whole world.
- Political Model:
- Republic of Fyknaren
- Capital: Laastrenthelm
- Anthem: "People, come together"
- Languages: Fyknarian, Skamrian
- Status: Regional Power
- Description: Fyknaren, a state located to the north of Vriskr and to the West of Tagrait-Skamreik, was a kingdom, until a popular uprising brought down the Queen and the Aristocracy. After this, the country was governed as a partisan democracy, and its industry, mostly focused on lumber and steel production, began to steadily grow over time. The nation has a large diaspora of Skamreikians, who fled from the Tagraiti-Skamrian War, and its politicians often have to balance the interests of its extremely socialist neighbors and its own growing industrial class, which leads to the election season being incredibly tense.
- Political Model:
- Parties:
- Peoples' Republic of Vriskr
- Capital: Zuvac
- Anthem: "March of Zuvac"
- Languages: Vriskarian, Vadrian, Tagraiti, Zeisk
- Status: Regional Power
- Description: The PRV is a partisan democratic, extremely leftist State to the North of Radinia. The State started out as a monarchy, but after a long line of incompetent and unpopular kings, multiple revolutions shook Vriskr to its very core, eventually leading to the murder of the Royal family and the establishment of a liberal democracy. That democracy shifted continuously to the left over time, and is now explicitly socialist, being allied with Tagrait-Skamreik and an IKSVR member. Many Vriskarians are discontent with this state of affairs, which has lead to the rise of multiple Reactionary and Monarchist groups (one example being the Vriskarian Monarchists in Exile), who are gladly being supported by Emporia.
- Political Model:
- Parties:
Jamyr
- Sacred Realm of Kaskilia
- Capital: Intalaun
- Anthem: "A Song of Quiet"
- Languages: Kaskilian
- Status: Minor Power, IKSVR Member
- Description: The lands of Kaskilia are wild and inhospitable, making any kind of settlement impossible. Therefore, the people of Kaskilia have organized themselves into Nomadic Tribes for millennia. Their Culture and Religion place great importance on familial bonds, and the tribes are lead by the elders. They also don't have a concept of private ownership, since every important thing is shared in the tribe, especially food, which is heavily monitored and distributed so that every tribe member gets what they need. They have very little relations to other countries, the closest thing is them claiming stewardship over ethnic Kaskilians in Angkut.
- Political Model:
- The Gradak
- Capital: Unknown
- Anthem: Unknown
- Languages: Gyrtuv-Speak, others Unknown
- Status: Minor Power, Isolated
- Description: Not much is known about the Gradak. It is almost exclusively populated by a species known as the Gyrtuv, Semi-Humanoid insectoids who can not communicate with any other species, but are still clearly intelligent enough to form a society. From what outsiders can tell, they seem to be very reliant on their military, which is weird because they have never involved themselves in war with any other country.
- Political Model:
- Isolationism
- Species Separatism
- Stratocracy (apparent)
- Peoples' Republic of Angkut
- Capital: Kaantun
- Anthem: "What is Right?"
- Languages: Angkutian, Kaskilian, Iugi
- Status: Regional Power, IKSVR Member
- Description: Angkut lays in the Northwest of Jamyr. It is a Socialist state, since in 1480, the Tribal territories of the Old Angkutian Tribes, as well as the Iugi and some Kaskilian tribes, were joined together through an agreement between the tribal chiefs, whose worries about Churcian Expansion greatly trumped their Pride and Xenophobia. The tribes, especially those in the north, found Socialism to fit onto their former economic system the best. Angkut is governed by a Parliament with a weak Presidency, ensuring that the interests of all political groups are at least considered, so as not to reenvigorate Tribal tensions. Currently, Angkut is embroiled in a war with the Great Churcian Empire, defending their southern territory against an incursion by the forces of Ciangau.
- Political Model:
- Political Parties:
- Republic of Danvuliria
- Capital: Rinvesce
- Anthem: "Andrasvasu"
- Languages: Danvulirian, Churcian
- Status: Minor Power
- Description: Danvuliria is a small breakaway state, having fought a war of independence against the Great Churcian Empire from 1510 to 1512. It is lead by the nationalist dictator Lasvit Zvar'zviere. The political system in Danvuliria can be divided into Pro- and Anti-Lasvit camps, the former consisting of the government and the Workers Unions, the latter consisting of Anti-Authoritarian Rebels and Rich Capitalists. This economic battle is important for the entire world, since Danvuliria exports many important minerals and consumer goods of high quality. The state also engages in literal battles, as it allies with Angkut in the ongoing Churcian-Angkutian War.
- Political Model:
- Great Churcian Empire
- Capital: Asco Garcal
- Anthem: "Ciangau shall rule"
- Languages: Churcian
- Status: Regional Power
- Description: Churcia is a big country, and the most consistently important state in Jamyrian History. Since being united in 230 a.X. (which is year 0 in their calendar), while constantly growing and shrinking, giving and taking land from their neighbors. Aside from small periods, it has always been lead by an Emperor, a position which is filled by Ciangau ac Tun since 1596. Ciangau is a deeply power-hungry individual, constantly seeking to emulate and surpass the power of his greatest predecessors and make Churcia the greatest power on the continent, if not the world. He does not accept sharing any power, brutally repressing any domestic rivals and scheming to take foreign powers down. Unfortunately, he is not talented enough to manage a state by himself, which has lead to disastrous consequences for his people, including a famine, which he is now trying to remedy by conquering fertile farmlands in southern Angkut.

- Traditionalism
- Republic of the Seas of Lztrekch
- Capital: Ykhmythup
- Anthem: "Abyssal Sonate No.III"
- Languages: Lztrekchian, Kubesthian, Scortan
- Status: Regional Power
- Description: Lztrekch is another small group of islands, however, unlike Kramm and Shoikai, the islands that make it up are small, barren and rocky. Most of the State is actually comprised of the water around the islands, as it is inhabited by Deeplurkers, an amphibian species who can live their lives underwater. The settlements on the islands are small and mostly made for visitors and diplomats, while the real cities, including the capital, Ykhmythup, were constructed under the water. The population of Lztrekch, of whom a lot are refugees from other countries, vote two Consuls (or Tchothei) into power every three years, as well as often being able to decide on policies themselves. Economically, they were and are socialists, since their mind-link allows them to organize much easier than most other peoples. They have refrained from joining the IKSVR, though, because they see it as a dangerous foreign power encroaching on their turf, and want to be left alone.

- Anthem: "Liberation of the Stadja"
- Languages: Stadjan, Klevre'ke, Lubnaedian, Kukarmystian, Ul-Jamyrut, Tagraiti
- Status: Regional Power, IKSVR Member
- Description: The ATT are a Confederation of eight central Jamyrian countries. While some of the constituent states are very old, the Confederation is the youngest geopolitical entity in the world, being founded just in 1528. Most of the territories are Authoritarian Socialist, since a revolution had swept through most of central Jamyr, and after that revolution, a lot of leftist infighting happened, in which Zavatism and similars prevailed over Revisionary and Conservative Forces.
- Political Model:
- Constituent States:
- Anedmudt
- Klevre
- Lower Kukarmyst
- Lubnaede
- Lubnaede is a smaller state in central Tlaribn, which has been most grievously affected by the Revolution. About every third person in Lubnaede has lost a relative during it. The state, with Sgirif Slund at its head, provides many people with Welfare, which makes it highly dependent on financial aid from the other states.
- Modukga
- Modukga lays in the Northwest of the ATT, bordering Churcia. Chairman Kuntap Smork holds supreme power, being an orthodox Zavatist and working to fit his state into that ideological framework. Modukga also holds many work camps for "Enemies of the Revolution" to be carted away to, since it's very much peripheral and rarely visited.
- Opsak
- Stadjan Republic
- The Stadja is a River System, which makes up the biggest constituent state of the ATT along with a generous amount of the surrounding plains. The Stadjan Republic is so sparsely settled that a functional central Authority is basically impossible, so its leader Kul Nisvatile is pretty much just a figurehead for the local village chiefs to send to important meetings. Those local village chiefs are still almost entirely Authoritarian Socialists, so the big leaders of the ATT () let this system slide... for now.
- Upper Kukarmyst
- Upper Kukarmyst, laying in the furthest northeast of the ATT, is notable for not being a Zavatist or similarly organzed state. It is instead governed as a Traditional Aristocracy, with Fufro Zoltep the Younger holding limited central power and local Nobles actually holding the country together. This is possible because Upper Kukarmyst is very mountainous and its leaders are highly pragmatic, often working with the socialist states on foreign and domestic affairs.
- Acolonial State of East Jamyr
- Capital: Squisake, Frestreeth[1]
- Anthem: "I am a Jamyrian"
- Languages: Emporian, Ul-Jamyrut, Scortan, Kubesthian
- Status: Regional Power
- Description: Established as a joined Emporian-Scortan Colonial Project, this country was the only big part of the Jamyrian continent to ever fall under the control of any Previan Empire. This was not seen favourably by the two big Empires on the continent, Khay and Churcia, who waged numerous wars on the colony specifically and the Previan Empires more generally, often helped by the Tribes of Western and Northern Jamyr. Eventually, the Previan states lost interest in colonialism, and they had enough of the constant, ever more costly wars with their Jamyrian counterparts. They abandoned their colonial holdings, leaving a power vacuum, which immediately led to a civil war between settlers, indigenous peoples, the Khay and Churcian Empires, and various other forces. This resulted in the establishment of the Acolonial State of East Jamyr, a partisan democracy which, while still harbouring ethnic tensions, isn't as likely to break out into full civil war again. While not a very important player on the world stage, the ASEJ holds a special place as a link between Previan and Jamyrian cultures.
- Political Model:

- Third Monarchical Realm of Tucria
- Capital: Dhavilar
- Anthem: "Dhamei Khampai Minggar"[2]
- Languages: Tucrian, Nhemian, Khay Svyal
- Status: Regional Power, IKSVR Member
- Description:
- Political Model:
- Khay Kingdom
- Capital: Adyshra
- Anthem: "Hymn of Kings Vhey and Vhey"
- Languages: Khay Svyal, Ul-Jamyrut, Nuthukhian
- Status: Great Power
- Description: The Khay Kingdom borders the Acolonial State of East Jamyr to the South. Unlike the ASEJ, the Kingdom has never been conquered due to its highly skilled sailors and mages, and their ability to adapt, reverse engineering guns in little time. Presently, Khay is ruled over by Kings Locs and Sicshay Vhey, a pair of brothers, and a small parliament of Nobles and Businesspeople. Labour Unions are allowed to exist, but Zavatists and similarly extreme Socialists are persecuted by the state. They enjoy friendly relations to the ASEJ, with which they form a defensive front against Churcian expansion, and trade between them is flourishing.

Regional Governments
West Radinian Republic
The West Radinian Republican Army, a faction of the Radinian Republican Congress, has built up the West Radinian Republic. This Progressive, Liberal Democracy exists since 1561, and it has the most functional institutions in the country.
- Republican State of the Starden Dunes
- The Starden Dune State is the primary trading hub of Radinia. It comprises a huge part of the Radinian coastline. This meant that, when the Liberal movement that had enveloped the port cities of Western Radinia lead to the WRRA forming, it was easily supplied with foreign weapons, food and volunteers. With those supplies, the WRRA was able to overthrow the State government during the early stages of the Civil War, and it has been in Republican control ever since. It is now the most secure, peaceful and livable state in Radinia.
- Republican State of the Marshlands
- This swampy, sparsely populated region of Radinia fell to the WRRA in 1564, when a Prison Work Camp in the swamp experienced food shortages, which lead to a revolt by the prisoners. Most of them being imprisoned for their political views, they gave the camp to the WRRA as a base and most of them joined the army to fight against their opressors. The locals were sympathetic to the Republicans as well, since they had been neglected by the Royal government and saw many prisoners and penal labourers being mistreated. Today, the Marshlands are the most leftist state in the Republic, being led by a coalition of the Progressive Party and the Agrarian Populists, under the stewardship of governor Heglia Weißrinde, with the WRRA-aligned Revolutionary Militant Party being in the opposition. They also want better relations with Zeismark, probably since the living situations in the two states are quite similar.
- Free City Clavouria
- The Graveyard City. The ground on which Clavouria was build is rich in a magical sediment which revives the dead into intelligent Zombies. Therefore, this city has been transformed into a nearly One-Species City, populated mostly by Undead. It is ran by a council of Wise Men, who are elected by all people of the city. It is the only part of Radinia that was almost completely unaffected by the Civil War, because before and after, the Wise Men and the upper class of the city have always managed to keep the Monarchy at bay, and since the city is mostly comprised of Undead, they aren't dependent on food or medicine from abroad. After the civil war ended, the West Radinian Republican Army demanded the city to join their new Republic, and since the wise men knew they could not withstand a direct campaign from the WRRA, they agreed.

- Republican State of the Reischer Plains
- The Reischer Plains comprise the largest area of the Republic. During the war, it was contested hard between the WRRA and the Radinian Monarchy, being contantly pummeled with Artillery and experimental bombs. Many civilians were killed, towns were leveled, the environment was polluted beyond anything seen before or since. Eventually, the WRRA pushed the RRA back behind the River Kruste, where the frontlines solidified until now. The people of the plains are very conservative when compared to the rest of West Radinia, but they also hate the Nobility, which has lead to the Revolutionary Militant Party having complete control over the states government.
- Republican State of Valten-Halbmarsch
- Valten-Halbmarsch was ruled over by the Grelst noble family. The last Governor, Krine of Grelst, was sympathetic to the Liberal movement, supporting the WRRA in the early stages of the Civil War, which lead to the state being invaded and occupied by the Radinian Royal Army, and the entire Grelst family being executed. After that, Valten-Halbmarsch turned into the primary front of the war between WRRA and RRA for a few months, until the fighting there ground to a halt and all parties relocated most of their troops to other theaters, mainly the Reischer Plains. Eventually, the Second Radinian Legion also attacked the State, conquering the entire South of it, and starting to construct their Deranco Line. After the RRA collapsed, their positions fell to the WRRA, and the North of the state is in Republican control since then. The closer to the southern border, the more military presence there is in this state, for which the Revolutionary Military Party needs the support of the Valtenian people, whose voting is highly influenced by their fear of the SRL.
Legionary State of South Radinia
The Second Radinian Legion, a Private Military under the command of the Emporian Noble Joshias Deranco, has control over the entire South of continental Radinia. While they are officially on the payroll of the Emporian Queen[3], they act as an independent governing body in South Radinia, not as a colony.
- Protectorate of Buurland
- Buurland was always described as "the Stomach of Radinia", both because of its importance to the nation's food supply and because of its weak border, which Emporian regiments have often tried to invade. The last of those invasions was attempted during the Radinian civil war, and while it was a huge failure for the Emporian army, the SRL eventually invaded the state during the "week of terror" in early 1563, crushing the Radinian Royal Army and installing themselves as the state government. Since then, retaking Buurland for Radinia has been a stated goal for basically all Unitarist groups.
- Protectorate of Southern Valten and Staucken
- After they had taken Buurland, the SRL had found themselves being surrounded on all sides by Radinian Armies, all of whom absolutely hated Emporian Imperialism. Under severe and deadly pressure, Deranco decided to strike in the West, where the Royal Army and the Republicans were already fighting each other. While the fighting initially went bad for the Legion, the King's death and the Revolution in the capital threw the RRA into confusion and disarray, eventually leading to their retreat. Since then, the Legion holds the lands of southern Valten, while working tirelessly on the Deranco Line, a massive Trench Network holding off the WRRA from conquering the state from the North. The inhabitants of Southern Valten and Staucken have it quite a bit worse than their Buurlandian countrymen, since the SRL is much more ruthless and paranoid in this actively contested territory than in the relatively peaceful Buurland.
Remnant Radinia
To explain why Remnant Radinia exists, we need to examine the political situation in the Monarchist camp of the Radinian Civil War in 1563. After the king and much of his court were killed and Rados fell to the Revolution, the Highest Authority of the Monarchists came into the hands of his chancellor Desseike of Aelken, a weak and unpopular leader. Lots of Nobles and former Monarchists, unsatisfied with the actions of the government, and now without a king to support, split themselves off from the official Monarchist government, but their troops continued to fight alongside the RRA, now under the banner of the "Free RRA". When the Royalists were finally forced to cede their power over the state of Radinia and disband, these "Remnantists" were able to convince the Rebels that they were a different and more moderate force from the hated Royalists. This allowed them to keep some land in the center and East of Radinia.
- Remnantist Reischer Plains
- This thin slither of the Reischer Plains is occupied by the strongest troops of the Free RRA since 1564. When the frontline of the Official Army broke down, and on paper, the rebels achieved their goal of victory over the official government, pressure in both camps lead to a peace treaty being signed in the town of Komperndorf, in which most of the Reischer Plains went to the WRRA, but the Remnant got to keep the land they held, as a symbolic gesture and to avoid further struggles. Like most Remnant Areas, an internal order of the state is practically non-existent, with many areas being controlled by Renegade RRA companies, Warlords, Aristocrats, Political Demagogues and Religious Figures, all constantly squabbling over territory and influence.
- Keiranship Kammen
- Kammen is notable because of two things: It houses the Irkibe of Espen, an important spiritual center of the Grimei Religion, and it was always extremely Monarchist. The last unit of the RRA to surrender was stationed here, and even after they were disbanded, the state immediately fell into the hands of the Remnant in the treaty of Komperndorf. The authority in this land is harshly contested between the church under Keiran Laive (supported by many Grimeian churches all across the continent), the weak Remnant Aristocracy, and the Reginal Conspiracy.
- Principality Nalzen
- The Princess of Nalzen, Jacka, was one of the many royals killed by Tartar the Devourer in his rampage. After that, the reign over the state was passed on to her young son, who was woefully inexperienced, so he passed on his power to his mothers' top advisor, Piethelm Goss. Goss and his good friend, former RRA Officer Griskine Polck, struck a deal with Secundus Aelius to strengthen their hold over the population, which has lead to the Reginal Conspiracy having an iron grip on Nalzen. The only real opposition is the states' Mage Community, who are powerful due to the states' rich Tavinium deposits, and don't like that power being taken away by the Conspiracists.

- Free State Geitterland
- Located on the Radinian eastern border, Geitterland has always been connected to the neighbor country of Scorta. The State Capital, Seeren (formerly named Searis), actually lies closer to the National Capital of Scorta (named Areia) than it does to Rados. In the third year of the civil war, Scortan troops marched into Geitterland, with the official mission to ensure that the border would not be breached, but were quite obviously there to secure Scorta's interests in the region. After some skirmishes with vastly superior Scortan troops, the Radinian Royal Army had to give up their positions in Geitterland. The Scortans then occupied Geitterland for a while, during which time they installed a very favourable leadership, and eventually left Radinian grounds. The power remained in the hand of their favourite, Countess Iganna Kal of Baakenwalde, who aligned herself with the Remnant during the last months of the war, using her position of power to force concessions by the rebels.
Independent
- Free Zeiske
- Situated in the far northwest of Radinia, and cut off from the other parts of the country by the Dragon Mountains in the east and the swampy coastline to the south, Zeiske is not ethnically Radinian, being the homeland of the Zeisk ethnicity. It has been home to a strong Separatist movement for years, and a Zeiskean Nationalist club named "Zeiskean Separatist Union" was one of the founding members of the Radinian Republican Congress. During the civil war, Zeiske was embroiled in a brutal campaign of guerilla warfare between the ZSU and the RRA, with the ZSU eventually emerging victorious.

- Free City Rados
- Rados once housed the King, and functioned as Radinia's capital both on paper and in terms of political power. The City often suffered from corruption and systemic violence in the city guard, and most citizens came to despise the Royal family. This was the perfect opportunity for a Radinian Socialist by the name of Leto Maßmann, who recently split from the RWPF over ideological issues. He started to build an underground socialist movement, and when Tartar The Devourer entered the city, intent on killing the king, they instigated a city-wide revolt against the guard. They then proceeded to wipe out the city guard in a brutal street fighting campaign, entered the palace, staged a few executions, and installed a city government.
- Fraktal-Pondlands Autonomous Zone
- This territory is currently in the hands of the notorious Fraktal Band, a criminal cult which has terrorised the Radinian countryside since the start of the civil war. After the battle of Prastenheim, where they were beaten by a coalition of the Bloodhand Band and the Anheem City Army, the band was forced to retreat to the pondlands, where they promptly massacred the locals and set up their terror regime. They are currently resisting attempts to conquer their land by the WRRA.
- Free Territory of Hohenreben
- Hohenreben is a very mountainous region. Its dominant industries are mining, smelting and metalworking, and it was always heavily controlled by the army, the aristocracy, and the mining companies. During the Radinian Revolution, the state split into the urban areas, which were mostly Royalist, and the countryside, where the empoverished mine workers joined Revolutionary groups en masse. Vriskr, who would stand to gain power from a socialist state on their southern border, sent massive aids to the miners, which eventually lead to the overthrow of the Hohenrebener Aristocracy. The countryside of Hohenreben is controlled by the United Mine Workers of Radinia and the Weapon Mechanics' Union of Radinia, two powerful Industrial Unions, while the cities are mostly governed by independent city councils.

- Free State Kauvatten
- Kauvatten has been under the rule of the Von Bruck family for most of Radinias existence. The family has always been a rival to the Von Hohenreben family, however they never went into open revolt. At least until their last daughter, Nadia von Bruck, befriended the Communist Soldier Kristene Bochte. Bochte influenced Nadia quite a bit, installing a hatred for the Von Hohenrebens and a communist worldview in the young royal. When Nadias parents died in Tartar the Devourers attack, the rule over Kauvatten transferred to her. She immediately gave half her territory to the RWPF. However, since she was still very young, many bands have seized the opportunity to exploit an unexperienced governess, constantly raiding and causing mayhem on the states' weakly defended peripheries.

- Free City Anheem
- Anheem was a very powerful city even before the Collapse. As a trade hub, Anheem was very rich and relatively free. In the Radinian civil war, the city was controlled by the stationed royal city guard for a while, until they got ordered off to other fronts. Anheem then stayed independent for the rest of the war, though it took heavy losses from raids by bands. The citizens were organized into a city army, and they dealt a decisive blow to the Fraktal Band in the Battle of Prastenheim, chasing the band out of Southeast Radinia. From then on, the city stayed independent, and it seized much of the fertile farmland in its general vicinity. The mayor and city council have built up relations to the WRRA, which keeps the RAF-controlled Kauvattian Home Guard off their back, and is part of a plan by the WRRA to push east and unite Radinia once more. If they will respect Anheems Free City Status after they achieve this goal, is a question that will define Anheems politics for a long time.

- Protectorate of the Wasteland
- The Wasteland is a vast, Desert-like area of Radinia, situated in the far northwest. It is an enclave of Radinia that is mostly surrounded by Vadria, Glimburg and Vriskr instead of other Radinian states. The Wasteland has not been invaded due to being very undesirable and not worth starting a war over. The charred and ashy wastes are the result of a war in the twelfth century, where the King of Vriskr deployed an army of Pyromagicians to beat the Royal Radinian Army, not aware that the land they were fighting on had a strong magical aura. This resulted in an unbelievably massive explosion and a magical fallout that rendered the land infertile forever. Since then, the Wastes are only populated by a few small communities of Undead and Demons, and have been in the control of Radinia. It's currently unaccounted for by anyone in Radinia or out.
- Southern Wastes Autonomous Zone
- The Third of the Autonomous Zones, this one is occupied by the Bloodhand Band. They siezed a small part of the Borderlands of Ekterland and the Wasteland, where they can still grow food, but aren't occupying such a profitable strip of land that it becomes a big target. From here, they often go on raids in Ekterland and Kauvatten.
- Territory of Hoeltrum-Breike
- Much like Zeismark, Hoeltrum-Breike is a Territory with a native ethnic minority population. The Breikian people were conquered by Dorian I. in the 1400s, incorporating it into the Radinian Kingdom. From then on, it has served as a strategic point in the rivalry between Radinia and Emporia, housing many Naval Bases, in which lots of Breikians served as sailors. When the news of the Revolution reached Hoeltrum-Breike, due to Admirals being ordered to send their ships to Zeismark to lay siege to the Peninsula. The Breikian sailors rebelled, taking control of the harbors, and quickly, the Breikian Liberty Party was formed. This party organized the Breikian Rebellion, which was a swift success due to the remaining Radinian Navy being unable to push through the Hoeltrum strait. Parallel to this, they reorganized the Breikian government, throwing out the Aristocracy and bringing in an elected parliament of Revolutionary leaders.

- Lordship Ekterland
- Ekterland is situated in the east of Radinia, on the border to Scorta. It has always been greatly afflicted by conflicts between the two countries, and during the Chaos of the Radinian civil war, it has been raided multiple times by most of the big, dangerous criminal bands, due to its abundance of resources. The Knight Order of Ekterland, that had been disbanded for decades, was brought back to protect the State, and is currently experiencing clashes with the Bloodhand Band and the Great Grey Horde. They have refused to join the Remnant Camp, because they see them as too moderate and weak, and expect them to be wiped out by the WRRA and RWF soon.
Factions
- Bloodhand Band
- Formed in 1560, the Bloodhand Band is a dangerous scourge of the hills of Eastern Radinia, ruthlessly and indiscriminately attacking everyone they want to, plundering, murdering, raiding, and engaging in other cruel behaviour. They are the boogeyman of many a faction, being described as the pinnacle of degeneracy and immorality.
- Dead Company
- The Dead Company, aka First Undead Infantry Division, was a Division of Undead Soldiers that fought for the Radinian Royal Army in the beginning phases of the civil war. The Soldiers of the Company were known as being nearly invincible (due to them being undead), but they were also highly religious Tzykhtzyrs and had strong socialist sympathies. They were genuinely respected by their enemies, since they fought with honour, bravery, and never committed war crimes, which was quite rare among any faction in the Civil War. When the king died in 1563, the Commander of the Dead Company decided that enough was enough, and he and his troops defected into the wasteland. There, they built a completely isolated commune, where they hoped to be free to live however they pleased.
- Drijnskena
- The Drijnskena were a family in 13th century Zeiske, who were famous for their contributions to the Second Zeiskean Uprising, for which many of them were executed by the Radinian government. The name of the family was subsequently ordered erased from any official document, a measure meant to curb their name recognition and influence on unruly Separatists, which completely backfired and resulted in their name being known to virtually every Zeiskean. Today, the Drijnskena Family is probably extinct, although that is hard to verify due to Zeiskean Naming conventions. Their name now adorns a group within the Zeiskean Separatist Union, who are known for being some of the most important fighters. They are currently on a campaign against the Royal Army of Zeismark. As a splinter group, they are also particularly interested in the Trading Community in Zeiske, which differentiates them from the mostly Agrarian ZSU.
- Foundation for the Preservation of the Royal Treasure
- This foundation, created in 1564 by some 50 officers of the RRA, was originally meant to secure as much of the property of the Radinian Monarchy for the Conservative side of the civil war. The Officers started by seizing Royal Property in all the areas they already controlled, and soon started to form raids into neutral or even enemy territory, stealing as much of the Royal treasure as possible. After the war ended, the Foundation quickly got infiltrated by members of the Reginal Conspiracy, and now mostly works as their reptile fund.
- Fraktal Band
- The most brutal and feared of all the criminal bands in Radinia, this band got their start during the beginning of the Civil War and have terrorized almost all parts of Radinia at some point or another. At the hugely decisive battle of Prastenheim, where they went up against a coalition of Radinian Communists, other bandits and local city militias, the band was defeated, which caused them to retreat into the Pondlands, where they were also documented to commit countless atrocities against the native population. Structurally, they take the form of a highly centralized Cult of Personality, where their leader, "Master Derivan", can command every single bandit to do anything he wants.

- In 1564, the Radinian Royal Army officially surrendered to the Radinian Republican Congress. The victorious rebels decided to disband the high command of the army, which led to the rest of army falling into a state of disarray. - The General's Band
- Six Assassins, known as the General's Band, were a very volatile force during the civil war. While there were many murderers-for-hire active in the civil war, the General's Band was more effective than any of their competitors, and they collected huge sums of wealth and were strongly feared. They still sometimes strike, killing influencial people and never getting caught.
- Great Grey Horde
- The Great Grey Horde was formed in 1564, when the Orc Farmer Gyrra Inrax fled from SRL occupied Buurland. She was furious with humans in general, and believed that integration of the different species had been a mistake. After carving out a personal fiefdom in southern Nalzen, she sent out a call to all orc communities she knew, promising a life of exciting adventure and all the loot one could plunder. The warband that arose from this quickly developed into a veritable society, albeit a primitive one. Multiple fiefdoms were added, every one ruled by the Leader of the Raiding Party that conquered it. Non-Orcs are either expelled, enslaved or murdered, with humans in particular facing Irnax' genocidal wrath if their home falls into their domain of her loyal Raiders.

- Reginal Conspiracy
- The Reginal Conspiracy formed shortly after King Darius' death, being made up of the King's close advisor Secundus Aelius and a few of his political allies, but eventually growing to include much of the surviving Radinian Aristocracy and many Remnantists. The group involves itself in conflicts in Radinia and abroad, with the main goal to turn the fractured state into a unitary, centralized and highly hierarchical nation. They, or at least the members who are not just power-hungry opportunists, believe in the so-called "Radinian Idea", a National Mythos proclaiming that the Radinians are a uniquely determined people, and that their resistance was what caused the collapse of the Tiat Empire. Most Reginalists, including Aelius, aim for a self-sufficient nation being helmed by a largely powerless king, with their like, a small group of advisors and nobles, as the true authority.
- Reginal Youth
- Despite its name, the Reginal Youth is not a Youth organization. It is a paramilitary gang, fulfilling the role of the brutal enforcers for the Conspiracy, intimidating Critics and clashing with socialists. They even sometimes work as footsoldiers for the Remnant States, notably, they fought against the Bloodhand Band in early 1566, where they lost. Ideologically, the Youth is more varied than their shadowy masters, ranging from plain Ultranationalists and Grimei restorationists to the most esoteric of Fascists.
- Remnant
- The Remnant, or Remnantists, are what is left over of the old Radinian Aristocracy. Because many important Nobles were wiped out in the war, particularly by Tartar the Devourer's storming of the Royal Palace and the Red Terror of the RAF, most Remnantists are Minor nobility, landed gentry or even just Rich Monarchists without any Title. Additionally, the Free RRA generally counts as Remnantist, mostly among the officers[4]. These leftover elites govern many parts of central and Eastern Radinia, but they lack an internal structure and almost exclusively operate on a local level, which limits their power and makes them easy targets, both for interest groups who seek to manipulate their government, and to outside forces who seek to reunify Radinia .

- Starting out as a hardline faction in the Rados Commune, the Skullsplitter Band have devolved into just another criminal group. They operate out of the Rados Outskirts Autonomous Zone, where they have taken over and forced many people out of their homes, and often go on raids into WRRA Territory. While they claim to be Anarchists, they also have a dedicated council of leaders who guide their actions, which is claimed to only be transitional.
- Vriskarian Monarchists in Exile
- Despite the fact that the Vriskarian Revolution and Overthrow of the Monarchy is already more than 100 years old, Monarchism is still one of the biggest political groupings among Vriskarian regime critics. There exist multiple different Monarchist Organizations, ranging from the moderate Conservatives of the "Voice of the Right" party to Extremists and Terrorists willing to install a new Monarchy by force. The "Vriskarian Monarchists in Exile" are an organization of the latter persuasion, consisting of Vriskarian Exiles in Radinia, who seek to gather strenght for a future invasion of their homeland. In the civil war, they fought on the side of Van Deerens section of the RRA, notably helping conquer the northwest of Hohenreben from the Syndicalists .

Religions
- Grimeianism
- While the real beginnings of this religion are the stuff of myths, it was first mentioned in scripts from the early days of the Tiat Empire, which makes it likely that it originated in one of the tribes the Tiat conquered. It became the Tiats state religion in 130 b.X.[6] and then spread around all of the Previan continent while it was under the Tiats reign. Nowadays, it‘s still practiced in much of Previa and in very small amounts in the ASEJ. While there, of course, exist fragmentations in the church, the central doctrine of Honesty, Loyalty and Bravery, as well as the Semi-Polytheistic conception of The Divine, unites all Grimei Believers: They believe in three divine entities, one creator, one preserver and one destructor, who control all of the world through various "smaller gods", themselves independent actors in legend, but always aspects of the three highest gods. The three forces of creation, preservation and destruction must be kept in balance, which means that believers should preach to all three gods (and all their minor gods) in roughly equal devotion, while anyone who doesn't pray to any god is a neutral and can be ignored. The number three is, generally, extremely important. Conversion of Non-Believers was never really a priority for the Faith itself[7], only Tiat Power Politics made it so widespread, but the usage of Grimeianism for political gains has always been a staple of life in Radinia and elsewhere.

- Furaz Dar
- This religion is practiced in the Ucayanates of Urlan and Hysa, as well as in the lands southeast of Urlan where very few Radinians ever stepped foot. It is a monotheistic religion, and the only religion focused on converting non-believers. Furaz Dar missionaries can be found in every bigger city, but they live dangerous lives. Their motivation is the doctrine of Welfare and comraderie among believers, and the loads of money that can be made with church tithes.

- Tzykhtzyrs
- Tzykhtzyrs is the oldest religion in Radinia, predating the Tiat Empire by at least multiple decades. Its first believers were exclusively Deeplurkers, an Amphibian Humanoid Species that often live in the waters of the ocean, however many of them also become a part of land society. While the faith was repressed during the Post-Tiat Dark Ages, when many populations of Deeplurkers were discriminated against and forced back into the ocean, it experienced a small resurgence in the 900s and a big resurgence in the 1200s, as the Previan Enlightenment Equivalent was in full swing. Nowadays, Tzykhtzyrs communities can be found pretty much anywhere in Previa, from small villages to major trade hubs and from peaceful communes to active army detachments. Because of the completely decentralized structure and lax theology of the faith, individual Tzykhtzyrs communities can have wildly varying stances on Philosophy, Mythology, Politics and Culture. While, for example, the Combat Preachers of Military Action Group Scholten are hardline Fundamentalists and see absolutely nothing wrong with excessive force, while the group at the Ctzeyt Monument see violence as a sin and many Tzykhtzyrs Communities in big cities are actively Secularist. The core beliefs of the faith are hard to nail down, for one because they are hidden under the thousands of different modified beliefs of all the communities, and also because Tzykhtzyrs priests are almost always dedicated to obscuring as much about their true beliefs as possible. The little that is known amounts to: There is a group of Gods called the Kchylvyr, and they are varying levels of apathetic towards all lifeforms.

- Cult of Lthyr
- The Cult of Lthyr is an offshoot of the Tzykhtzyrs faith, being disillusioned with what their founders saw as self-serving obscurity and willing ignorance in the ranks of Tzykhtzyrs priests. They believe that a Tzykhtzyrs Institution should be centralized and lead by a strong authority, and that, instead of taking pride in ignorance, believers should strive to know as much as there is to know. Even if the Universe is without meaning, they argue, one should still be enlightened to this. On a political level, the Cult is highly radical, existing in the power vacuum of northwestern Radinia, where the fight between Zeiskean Separatists, Loyalists and Republicans leaves an opportunity for recruitment wide open.

- Brownbandism/Artiln Bierks Thought
- Artiln Bierks, the 1537 born General of the Breikian Liberty Party, and his "Brownbands", are the heroes of the Breikian Revolution. They are, of course, Separatists first and foremost, which is why they oppose the WRRA despite sharing a devotion to the Splinter Movement. There are also other differences. While many WRRA higher-ups are "Old Splinterists", the Brownbands are "New Splinterists", and their conceptions of Radinian history and its effects are very different. Nonetheless, talks between WRRA and BFP diplomats are a constant of political life in Southwestern Radinia, since the two groups share enemies ().

- Tielick Ingwald Kämmerer, born in 1530, is the Banner General (the highest military rank possible) of the West Radinian Republican Army. Styling himself a Philosopher as well as a Military Man, he argues against the Grimeian belief in Virtue Ethics and believes instead that the ends justify the means. His main goal is to unite Radinia as a Republic, and he is willing to do all it takes to achieve it. This has earned him criticism, with some accusing him of Ultranationalism and sympathies to the Reginal Group.

- National Triumviratism
- The Emporian National Triumvirate is made up of the three Aristocrats Clest Vriscars, Archenius Phirron and Spyria Lithes. Lithes joined the Triumvirate after her father Gitinius passed away from a bad fever, and the two other men accepted her because of her firm devotion to their cause, despite this rendering the title "Triumvirate" slightly ironic. The three Nobles scheme to overthrow the House of Jeacern and install a Progressive National Republic, and what they lack in Emporian allies, they make up for in foreign benefactors, with many Fyknarian, Scortan and ASEJ politicians supporting them against the Dairellites. Since the Triumvirate is situated near the Urlanish border, Urlan also covertly supports them in order to weaken their regional enemy.

- Poschtism
- Lilizia Poscht, born 1526, is the current President of the Western Radinian Republic, standing with the Revolutionary Militant Party. She hails from a merchant family from Leodinsheim, who paid for her education in a private academy, where she excelled in Political Science. She is a hardline Radinian Nationalist, and one of the driving forces behind WRRA Militarism. She is driven to reunite all, yes, ALL , of Radinia, under the banner of Democratic, Liberal Republicanism, and her idealistic dream is a United World Republic. Because of this, she is an extremely controversial figure in Western Radinia.

Socialists
- Previan Socialism
- Due to having formed very early, Previan Socialism has a distinctly antique tinge to it. The first nominally socialist regime was the Republic of Hafras, a small state in what is now western Vadria, lasting from 1348 to 1374. Almost all Socialist tendencies before the rise of Kovim Zavat were very decentralized, Agrarian and surprisingly conservative, often claiming a heritage from either pre-Tiat Tribes or Peasants' Republics, like the Lands of Zeiske before Radinian Unification. The Industrial Age of Previa has brought about a shift in Socialism, most notably giving rise to Centralized Tendencies, like Zavatism.

- Akrik Vlut Thought
- Akrik Vlut, born in the sovereign kingdom of Klevre in 1476, is an influencial political figure in Tlaribn. His father, a decorated war hero, got him a political education, where Akrik came into contact with Zavatist Theory, which he enthusiastically adopted. His role in the 1500 Stadjan Revolution (he lead the Klevreian Division of the Confederal Socialist Party) made him an apprentice of the well-known Lubnaedian Socialist Zvutra Arshuk, eventually becoming the chief of her personal guard. When Arshuk published a text critical of Kovim Zavat, specifically against his authoritarianism, Akrik conspired against her with two others in her circle, Sgirif Slund and Kuntap Smork, and overthrew her. The resulting clash between loyalists of Arshuk and Zavatists killed almost 2.000 people, mostly civilians, which gave Akrik the nickname "Butcher of Lubnaede". He and his co-conspirators came out on top, and they eventually were in posession of almost all of Tlaribn. Akrik, himself the State President of Klevre, works tirelessly to establish a completely new, strongly Zavatist identity for a unitary State in Central Jamyr, and hopes to one day be present for the establishment of the Socialist World Republic.

After studying law at the University of the city, he sought out a career in the courts, which he is ultimately denied because of his unorthodox views. At 32 Years old, he serves in the City Guard of Anheem, and he is captured by the Bloodhand Band one year later. They let him join the band, and he soon gets to lending their unusual social structure a short legal framework. In this endeavour, he is guided by his belief in Constitutionalism and the principle of always punishing the breaking of a rule perfectly proportionally. He is mostly concerned with reforming the band in such a way as to give it actual staying power, so that it doesn't only have to rely on banditry and war to support itself.

- Arei Selaceú is generally agreed to be the first socialist theorist of Previa. Born in 1387, he spent most of his life in a small provincial town in the Southeast of Scorta, where he himself experienced the harsh exploitation of the peasants and workers by Feudal Lords and up-and-coming Industrialists. - Zavatist Revisionism
- Zavatist Revisionism is a Socialist Tendency that takes inspiration from both Zavatism and pre-existing Socialist tendencies. It is generally modern, progressive and materialist, which it mostly takes from Zavatism, but disavows Authoritarianism, which caused the split between it and Orthodox Zavatism. From Older Socialist Tendencies, it takes ideas of Decentralization, Democracy, Anarchism, and Reform, however, different Revisionist Thinkers might accept or disapprove of many of these ideas. Generally, Zavatist Revisionism is less a fortified ideology and more of a school of thought, with many different theorists working on their own variants of it. The most important of these are probably Alzit Zvar'kitan, Jadmas Artharild and Udal of Hysa, who influenced the three biggest sub-ideologies in this "school".

- Darius II. Thought
- King Darius II. "The Wise" is the Great-Grandfather of the last Radinian King, and he is commonly considered the exact opposite of his descendant. His greatest achievement was the modernization of Radinia from a Feudalist backwater into a Federalized Nation. While still being opposed to democracy, Darius II. installed a parliament and let them decide on a contitution, which he accepted after only minor disagreements. He despised the Absolute Model of Monarchy, which had been stratified in Emporia, and therefore limited his own power and that of the former lords, whom he made governors of their lands, but allowed to keep their titles. He was also ahead of his time when it came to issues of species, reforming many antiquated Speciesist laws that, for example, restricted certain species to only certain parts of the country, and protected civil liberties. Through all this, he also found the time to give away much of his personal wealth for the well-being of the people, build up a capable military (the former lords' militaries were reduced to state guards) and contribute to philosophy.

- Darius III. Thought
- Darius III. of Hohenreben, born in 1498, was King of Radinia from 1521 to 1563. Widely detested for his ignorance and arrogance, he was one of the least popular kings of any Previan country in recent memory. The most consequential of his failures include his Absolutist aspirations and open disdain for the Parliamentary process, his political corruption and Cronyism which lead to him giving important positions almost exclusively to friends and favourites, his Jingoistic and Clumsy foreign policy, and his terrible handling of the Radinian Civil War.

- Thedo Kresper Thought
- Thedo Kresper was born in 1542, as the son of a blacksmith and a dockworker, and lived most of his youth in the Zeiskean town of Sperkzijd, where he eventually volunteered for the Zeiskean State Guard. He served in Zeiske during the civil war, and when the Zeiskean State Guard was disbanded, he joined Njerke Rehfängers "Royal Army of Zeiske" instead. After Rehfängers death, Kresper became leader of the RAZ. Currently, he is a mercenary in the employ of the WRRA, who uses the RAZ to weaken Zeiske in preparation of an invasion of their own. Politically, Kresper strikes an interesting balance between Royalist Conservatism and Liberalism, as well as being a student of Azan Cyrzan. If this political balancing act will work out for him and the RAZ, or if his fate is to be crushed by the ZSU or WRRA, only time can tell.

- Secundus Aelius was born in 1522 and grew up in Rados. He was the bastard son of a Radinian Aristocrat, his mother was a schoolteacher of Scortan Origin named Vaia Aelia, and when he found this out, he blackmailed his father into helping him with a career in Politics (an early example of his vindictive but pragmatic nature). He quickly worked his way up into King Darius III. inner circle thanks to his intelligence and hard work. He ended up as a personal advisor to the King, and soon enjoyed a close personal cooperation and friendship with him. They agreed on much, mainly that the King should have supreme Authority, and Aelius often helped Darius finding his way around the limitations that should have held the king back. After Darius basically lost the Civil War and died, Aelius began to distance himself from Absolute Monarchy, and remodeled his beliefs into a Radinian version of Fascism. He had already been a staunch ultranationalist and Alternate Modernist, as well as believing that diversity makes society weaker and opposing Socialism and Liberalism, to which he only added the belief that he himself should be the supreme leader instead of a king. After collecting a few allies, he founded the Reginal Movement, with which he hopes to eventually reunite Radinia, with himself at its helm, and without the "Southern Conspiracies" of Democracy, Liberalism and Socialism.

- Arjiet Kaanena Thought/Zeiskean Fascism
- Arjiet Kaanena, born to Kaane Styrkisna and Gijskie Klipjisna in 1541, is the Second most important person in the Reginal Movement. Originally hailing from a family of Zeiskean farmers, he worked his way into the top brass of the RAZ during the Civil War, which he then used to get close to the High Command of the RRA, meet Secundus Aelius and join his conspiracy. He supports establishing not the Greater Radinian Empire, but the "Duality of Radinia and Zeiske", which would not take much land from its neighbors (only "reuniting all Radinians and Zeiskeans in one homeland") but instead fortify its society against outside threats. This entity would work as two states, one a Ceremonial Monarchy under the "Radinian Reginal Council", one a Zeiskean State under the "Zeiskean Reginal Council", which would effectively work as two sovereign states but collaborate on matters of defense and "societal integrity". Other than this, he still supports most of the Reginal Cultural and Economic Policy, though with a significantly bigger focus on Agriculture.

He was hired by General Tielick Ingwald Kämmerer to travel across Jamyr, so Radinians can better understand what is going on on the other side of the Ocean. He was born in 1539 in a small village on the Zeiskean-Dragonian border. His old father was the towns teacher, his mother a soldier. Inno is Half-Human and Half-Sket, his father is a son of Shoikaitian Immigrants, while his mother is a Radinian human. He moved to Rivertown in the Reischer Plains when he was 18, and he was still there when the WRRA invaded the state in 1561. He volunteered to fight in the RRA, got captured by the Republican Army and eventually joined into their ranks when he witnessed their expertise and the quality of their supplies. When the war was over, he left the Army, but he kept in touch with General Kämmerer, who eventually requested him to tour Jamyr. While at first being opposed to leaving his beloved homeland, he eventually agreed, and set off on a Cargo Ship to an adventure in foreign lands.

- Lasvit Zvar'zviere is the Dictator of Danvuliria. He was born in 1531, and grew up in a town on the southern border of the newly independent state, where he experienced conflict with troops of the Churcian Empire, which made him highly suspicious of foreigners. He went to a local military college along with his sister, and over the years, they rose through the ranks of the Danvulirian military, eventually joining the General Council that had control over the country. - Yavi Scyaval is the most prolific philosopher of the day, along with influencing the geopolitical outlook of the Khay Government. She places great importance on the differences between civilizations, and opposes the Theory of Power and other theories of any worldwide cohesion, historical development or shared Agenda. Born in 1500 in a suburb of Adyshra, she despised school of any kind, preferring to teach herself, which she believed would give her an unbiased and independent outlook. She gained an appreciation for most of Ancient and Modern Khay philosophy, and eventually, she published an essay in which she argued for a clear progress of philosophy, comparing it to a road that is constructed by everyone who walks on it, so that every new traveller can use it and construct more of it themselves. She eventually widened this into her vioew of history in general, and she began describing multiple roads for different peoples, all leading in different directions (meaning that every civilization has its own unique historical progress) and only sometimes crossing, with one particularly large intersection being Nationalism, which she believes to be a particularly common part of these progresses. Politically, she believes in Radical Pragmatism, since flexibly adapting to new circumstances in the ideal way is the way a government "constructs the road" for its people.
