Islamic Socialism is an ideology that seeks to incorporate Islamic values with 
socialism.
History
Islamic Socialism, or MIDDLE EASTERN SOCIALISM came to be with Islamic Intellectuals supporting the ideas of Socialism.
The first time Islamic Socialism came to power was in Afghanistan when the Democratic People's Republic of Afghanistan was established following a communist revolution. The government was overthrown a few decades later by the 
mujahideen.
