Scott Cawthon Thought is the ideology of an American former video game developer, writer, and producer. He is the creator of the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise, which began with development of the eponymous game in 2014. Released independently, the game quickly gained popularity and cult status.

Beliefs

On June 10, 2021, Cawthon trended on Twitter when his publicly available political donations were shared on Twitter. Except for a donation to Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, all donations went to Republican candidates and organizations. Cawthon later confirmed in a statement posted to Reddit that he is a Republican and has made significant financial donations in support of conservative political candidates, while describing himself as "pro-life." He also claimed that after the donations were revealed, he had been doxed and received threats of violence and trespassing. While the reaction to Cawthon's post on Reddit was positive, the reaction on social media such as Twitter was mixed, where some members of the LGBTQ+ community
