Paternalism is a social and political philosophy emphasizing positivity in the government having a role in nudging people towards the right direction. Paternalist policy is defined as government action which limits an individual's or group's autonomy which is intended for their own good.

• New Left - While I may stand with you on welfarism, I say you are an utter disgrace compared to your Paternalistic predecessor the Old Left because you've done nothing but incorporate neoliberal individualism into the left. This new individualistic "personal responsibility" approach to the left that you promote harms the vulnerable people you claim to stand for and ultimately has rendered leftism impotent.

• Neoliberalism - You've created a world that values selfish dog-eat-dog individualism and blaming vulnerable individuals for their suffering. You are doing exactly what Social-Darwinism wants ever since you've dismantled the New Deal.
• Social Darwinism - Awful stuff, all humans are worth living! So many of us died to stop you during World War 2!
• Avaritionism - That chainsaw is too dangerous, put it down!
• Nazism - Like all the other implementers of Social-Darwinism you are vile, thankfully the collaborative efforts of Paternalists worldwide put an end to you.
• Third Way - I think you want the vulnerable members of society neglected and homeless under the guise of preaching tolerance.
