Not to be confused with Strasserism.

Stransserism, also known as Trans-Strasserism (Strans for short), is an authoritarian, ultranationalist and anti-capitalist ideology inhabiting the top center of the AuthLeft quadrant.

Stransserism advocates for a combination of Strasserism with LGBT, and in particular, Trans rights. Like Strasserism, it wishes to establish a nationalist workers' state. The ideology is either ethnonationalist (with an emphasis on white countries), or more commonly, White Nationalist in nature due in part to white countries being seen as more progressive on LGBT issues than non-white ones.

The ideology was first developed by u/Akkorokameowi, with the flag (both design and photo of a printed version) being posted on her account in 2018. Her exact ideology is unclear, however as of late it seems that she was moved on from Strasserism to a form of pro-Trans Juche. Other people on the internet have however also adopted the ideology, knowledge of its existence spreading primarily through memes, however it still attracted several serious adherents.

Stransserism is a form of Homofascism.

History

Strasserism and left-wing Nazism have long had connections to LGBT. The famous gay Nazi Ernst Röhm for instance, was affiliated with the left-wing of the Nazi party. After the war, many gay Neo-Nazis were influenced by Strasserism, a example of which being Michael Kühnen.

In 2018 u/Akkorokameowi (also known as Boot or B00t) posted her design for a Trans-Strasserist flag entitled "Trans Strasserism" on r/vexillology, several months later she posted a photo of a printed version of the flag on the same subreddit under "Trans-strasserist flag irl!". After acquiring a real-life version of the flag, Akkorokameowi posted multiple iconic images of herself with the Stransserist (and other) flags on the now-banned r/us_strasserism as well as 4chan. These images have become iconic Homofascist imagery, being reposted and questioned hundreds of times, including being featured in Jreg videos.

Since its inception, Stransserism has reportedly been adopted by multiple people and very small internet communities, many of which identifying themselves with the label. Strasserism has also become popular among some Femboys on the internet, however these can sometimes be transphobic.

Akkorokameowi seems to now primarily affiliate herself with Juche rather than Strasserism, so it is unclear if she still labels herself as a Trans-Strasserist.
