Linguistic Conservatism is a langauge ideology which is about conserving/preserving a language. This can be applied to any language that currently exists.


Unlike like Linguistic Preservationism it only wants to preserve "their own" language and doesn't care about other languages. The language one might want to preserve is the language of their country, culture, tribe and other groups. Their reason for conserving their language have usually a traditional and national background.

Believes

Linguistic Conservatism is the believe of conserving/preserving their language usually with traditiona, national or tribal justification. Followers of this would argue that their laguage is part of their tradition, nation or tribe and that preserving it is crucial.


This ideology can be applied to any language with the condition that it still exists and is actually used to talk unlike latin.

Linguistic Conservatism is a proud individual. He always speaks his language at any opportunity he has. He likes to sing, write and tell stories in his language to other balls.
