Tantism (from Latin tantum, "all but") is an ideology created by AnarchoDoofus and one that they currently believe in. It believes that the enlightenment was a mistake and a political Pandora's Box and that most variations of counter-enlightenment theory are flawed second-hand political offspring of the enlightenment (exempting conservatism, which simply needs improvement), so it calls for a permanent solution to the enlightenment by synthesizing the best beliefs of a wide spectrum of counter-enlightenment political theories, and correcting the mistakes they have made. Ideology-wise, it believes in an progressive adaption of conservative theory and putting the power back in people's hands, using transparent authoritarianism as a tool to fully realize its goal of defeating liberalism and putting the power directly back to the people.
